ROSARY REVIEWNov 26, 2010
By JCGAVY FOR THE PRICE THE ROSARY WAS OF DECENT QUALITY. IT IS USEABLE, BUT I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING OF MORE WEIGHT AND A LOT HEAVIER. GUESS LIKE THE OLD ADDAGE, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, BUT, IT IS OK, JUST OK AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND I AM SEMI HAPPY WITH MY SELECTION.

Handy RosaryNov 22, 2011
By Paul A. Dunphy My parish used to give these plastic rosaries out during the month of May. I still have several sets and they are very handy for someone like me who always likes to carry a rosary with him. Since the beads are strung with fairly durable cord instead of wire, they don't break or catch on things in a tote bag or pocket. I have more expensive and attractive rosaries but this is one I like to carry with me.

By rob30328 As long as an adult is not trying to wear the item or item brought for an elderly person to a child it is fine. A little small for a person actually trying to wear it but for as for use with Bibles or carrying in pocket to car and or candles to plots it is ideal.

Get What You Pay For, Good Little Starter RosaryApr 27, 2011
By Miss Lauren Lovett To the people complaining about it's cheap plastic nature (by the way, not imported from Italy, it's marked with "ECUADOR" on the bottom of the cross, I always get a kick out of that!), it's 89 cents. What were you expecting?
Anyway, it's a pretty good little rosary, I wanted one just because I love how they look and I have a morbid curiosity with the dark past (and present) of Catholicism. I'll definitely be upgrading to a better one, albeit more expensive, when I have the money, because this is not made of black beads or stone or anything of the type, it's plastic and it barely fit over my head, I had to kind of inch it down (although I think I have a larger head than most 18 year old women... but whatever!).
Overall, it seems pretty sturdy, it's held together by a thin white rope, and it gets the effect I was going for- looks like a black rosary. I'm very satisfied with my purchase- after all, including shipping and handling I only paid like $2 for this, so I wasn't expecting an upscale model. No complaints, I got exactly what I expected. It's a good idea for like church groups I guess, if they want to get the kids/teenagers some rosaries to teach them the prayers and everything. Good for mass buying, since they're so cheap.
Again, no complaints except for the slight difficulty getting it over my head, I got exactly what was expected and except for the "IMPORTED FROM ITALY" claim, was not mislead as to its quality.
I'd recommend this for anyone who just wants to have the visual effect of a rosary, like I did.
